Tanya Smith has always had a passion for hair design. Growing up in Tampa, she did haircuts for fun on her friends when they wanted an edgy cut. In 2013 she decided to make her hobby a career by attending the Summit Salon Academy in Tampa. Tanya moved to Portland in 2020 and loves exploring all the PNW has to offer. 

 

She specializes in short cuts, fades, shags, mullets, and pompadours. She loves to create unique styles and believes educating her guests to recreate their look at home is one of the most valuable assets she offers. She creates an all inclusive and welcoming environment to her clientele. 

When Tanya is not behind the chair, she is teaching cosmetology to the next generation of talented stylists. She is also an avid wood worker, pyrography artist, guitar player, singer/songwriter and painter.
