Leah
Salon Manager
Leah is the shining star of our flagship salon in Multnomah Village, and she’s ready to rock! With a lifelong love for all things hair, skin, and nails, she was the kid who couldn’t resist adding colorful streaks to her hair and experimenting with box dye—nail polish was her canvas of choice!
After battling teenage acne, Leah discovered her passion for skincare, which led her to enroll in cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute of Portland. There, she fell head over heels for hair design! After graduating, she kicked off her career at Annastasia’s front desk before teaming up with her mentor, Erica, for her associate program. Fast forward two years and Leah has leveled up to Salon Lead, where she’s on a mission to help her fellow stylists and the salon shine brighter than ever. She’s all about inclusivity and even launched our first Gender Free Haircut Club—an awesome free haircut event for Portland’s queer community!
Leah thrives on coworker camaraderie, whether it’s solving problems on the fly, cheering on their dreams, or being the go-to shoulder to lean on. She’s got a flair for marketing and merchandising and loves collaborating with our Salon Brand Partners to keep Multnomah Village buzzing with fresh ideas.
When she’s not styling hair, Leah is busy planning her wedding with her fiancé, Dylan, set for this October—just two weeks before their first kiss anniversary! A proud cat mom with a jungle of plants at home, you can catch her cooking up a storm, playing pool at dive bars with Dylan, or dancing the night away at her favorite queer bar, Badlands. In the summer, she’s soaking up the sun at the beach or by the river, embracing all that nature has to offer.
Her coworkers inspire her to bring her A-game every single day. If you ask around, people would describe Leah as welcoming, considerate, goofy, empathetic, and refreshingly honest!
